5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Feb. 25, 2017) Equipment Operator 2nd Class Shadavkia Johnson, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, operates a front end loader with a fork attachment to move project materials for a building being constructed to support vehicle maintenance. NMCB 1 is currently deployed in support of Commander, Task Force 56 which provides disaster relief, exercise-related construction and theater security cooperation engineering support across 5th Fleet area of operations.
