Diseases of the ovaries : their diagnosis and treatment . oma AdenoidesUterinum Ovarii. Zeitsch. der Gesell. der Aertzte zu For the more minute description of these changes I mustrefer the reader to Dr. Foxs paper. In three out of the fifteen WILSON FOX ON OVARIAN CYSTS. 47 cases he lias examined, where multilocular cysts existed, and inwhich he could not find the glands last described, Dr. Fox met &&&>. with a process of secondary cystformation of a somewhat differentcharacter. The cysts in these casesgave off diverticula, which pro-ceeded both from the thin-walledvarieties, and from those situatedin the denser portions of thestroma. In the former case thediverticula (which resembled thosein which many glandular struc-tures originate in the embryo fromthe gastro-pulmonary canal) ex-panded at once into cysts whichprojected into the interior of simi-lar adjacent formations; whilein the latter, long tubular follicles were given off, portions ofwhich became, by a series of successive constrictions, convertedinto Three Diverticular, or SecondaryCysts, projecting through theouter wall of a Thin-WalledCyst, from a Multilocular Ova-rian Tumour.
