JOINT BASE LEWIS MCCHORD, WASH. - Green Berets with the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) preform flutter kicks on the edge of a pool while being sprayed and doused with buckets of water during the Maritime Assessment Course at the Keeler Pool on Joint Base Lewis McChord, Wash. Jan. 27. The Maritime Assessment Course is a prerequisite course that physically and mentally challenges the Green Berets and provides them with the skills needed for the rigors of the Combat Diver Qualification Course.
