Molly Hayden; Staff Writer; Army Garrison; Hawaii; Public Affairs May 15, 2008 Visiting Wounded Warriors gear up for an outrigger canoe ride at Kailua Beach Park on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Businesses throughout the island came together with Operation Comfort to support the active duty Soldiers and Marines on their island vacation, May 6-16. Afterwards, the Wounded Warriors, most of whom are amputees, returned to Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, to continue recuperating.
