London, UK. 9th September arrest Charlie X, a Chaplin clone who tried to block a lorry at the West Gate of the DSEI arms fair, The Defence & Security Equipment International is the worlds largest arms fair, backed by the UK government, where arms companies and arms dealers sell weapons to countries around the world including many repressive regimes. Police at the West gate also inexplicably arrested a cyclist who was found to be in possession of a bike lock. London, UK. 9th September arrest Charlie X, a Chaplin clone who tried to block a lorry at the West Gate of the DSEI arms fair, The Defence & Security Equipment International is the worlds largest arms fair, backed by the UK government, where arms companies and arms dealers sell weapons to countries around the world including many repressive regimes. Police at the West gate also inexplicably arrested a cyclist who was found to be in possession of a bike lock. Back at the East Gate there was a lock-on by two protesters stopping up a lorry and other protesters sat on the road in front of it, with a large group holding a Quaker meeting. Police tried to clear the road and made several arrests including the two involved in the lock-in and another who lay under the wheels of the lorry.
