Dallas and the Metroplex are growing at an astonishing rate. Deep Ellum, the music and art venue of old is thriving with it's first and now fourth high rise in the the pat four years. The Deep Ellum Arts Festival the past thirty years has gained a very good rating in the art community that moves from south to north ending each year in the fantastic Ann Arbor Arts Festival. That celebration in Deep Ellum last year ended with the promoter retiring The community came together and organized on their own a fair to celebrate Deep Ellum's 150th year. It is now regrouping to find corporate sponsors and grow the annual festival back to what it was and more. The Denton Area is equally growing and the University of North Teas, THe Texas Women's University and the Texas College of North Texas have their mucis festival in downtown Denton each year. Dallas' new glass downtown is popping up everywhere and gearing up for the Soccer World Cup Games comming up. Even I was stunned at all the "new" things that were showing up in architecture, transportation and commerce (not to mention 4 new baby giraffes,nesting Bald Eagles and a falcon that has taken up the residence at the George W. Bush Presidential Center and Library on the campus of Southern Methodist accessible via 4 rail lines to the four county ...
