A man displays his colourful headdress and jewellery. AMAZONIAN ECUADOR: In one image, a woman wore red makeup across her eyes and a feathered headdress on her head whilst she held a paca - a type of large rodent native to the Amazon rainforest. In another, a naked man sat on the vast roots of a kapok tree and gazed up towards the sky and the top of the tree which towered far above him. The intimate photos are of the Waorani tribe who live in Amazonian Ecuador and are renowned for their use of ayahuasca - a hallucinogenic that creates feelings of euphoria and strong visual and auditory hallucinations, as well as side effects of vomiting and diarrhoea. The pictures were taken by the general manager of Wild Photo Tours Inger Van Dyke (51) from Clitheroe, UK. She captured the photographs in the Amazonian region of Ecuador using a Canon 5D MkIV camera with 24-105mm and 100-400mm lenses, and a DJI Mavic Pro drone. @ingervandyke_official
