New York, United States. 24th Feb, 2016. A person fatally struck by the L train near Union Square Wednesday morning, the MTA said. The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was struck inside the Third Avenue station, at 14th Street, about 11:50 , according to the MTA. The person was pronounced dead at the scene, an FDNY spokesman said.
