Garrison House in Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae. The Garrison House was built in 1745 and was destroyed by fire in 2001. Formerly the home to the Captain and officers of the 'Royal George' who were Cutoms Officers targetting smugglers. Renovated in 2008 the building is now a hub for the local community housing the local NHS Medical Centre, Library, Museum and cafe.
