At Guadalupe, Cal., the Waller Seed Co. has, in particular, excellent crops of zinnias and cosmos. Mr. Coventry's trip included all the seedsmen in the region of San Jose, where business is good and where all seem to be enjoying prosperity. Acre- ages are small here, but stock is all first-class. The Kimbcrlin Seed Co., at Santa Clara, Cal., has a beautiful place, he says, and is enjoying a good season. At St. Anthony, Idaho, John Wilcox is busy picking and cleaning seeds, of which there is a fine crop. This is a great pea-growing section and this firm is realizing the fact more and more every year. At Salinas, Cal., peas and beans are grown most successfully. At Twin Falls, Idaho, Mr. Coventry saw excellent crops of beans. It is in this section that the W. W. Barnard Co. has its crop of beans. On his return Mr. Coventry visited a number of places, including Colorado Springs. ARRIVAL OF DUTCH BULSS.
