COREOPSIS. Lanceolata Grandiflora (California Sun- beams.)—These lovely improved varieties are much larger than any heretofore offered ; the flowers are beautifully formed,—some saucer- shaped, others flat, some exquisitely incurved, while others are like si'eat buttercups. The petals are broad, with pinked, toothed, or irregu- larly' fringed edges. Some are very light yellow, others a deeper shade, darker around the eye- all so fine, it is difficult to say which is the most beautiful. Per pkt., 10c. Lanceolata.—Makes a dense tuft of glossy foli- age, which is rich and bright till hard frost, and out of this mass of foliage rises a constant suc- cession of tall, slender stems, two feet high, bearing blossoms of the most brilliant golden yellow conceivable, as large as a silver dollar. The beauty of these flowers is unequaled by any yellow flower. There is, perhaps, no other per- ennial so valuable for summer cutting. Per pkt
