Eostral broader than deep, just visible from above ; iuternasals as long as the prae- frontals ; frontal once and one third as long as broad, as long as its distance from the rostral or the end of the snout, shorter than the pai'ietals ; loreal elongate ; one prae- and two postoculars ; temiiorals 2 + 2; nine upper labials, fifth and sixth entering the eye; five lower labials in contact with the anterior chin-shields, which are shorter than the posterior. Scales in 13 rows. Yentrals 191-193 ; anal divided; subcaudals 111. Olive above, scales black-edged; a rather indistinct dark streak on each side of the head, passing through the eye ; upper lip and lower surface of head yellow ; pale green beneath, the posterior ventrals and the subcaudals margined with blackish.
