Skeleton anatomy. 17th-century Persian anatomical artwork of the rear view of a human skeleton. The tinting is in silver, which has blackened. Different parts of the skeleton are labelled. Artwork from a 1672 edition of 'Tashrih bi al-Taswir' (Illustrated Anatomy), originally produced in 1396 by the Persian physician Mansur ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yusuf ibn Ilyas (also known as Mansur).
