Bahamas steam train in Somerset and Wiltshire
On a damp overcast morning in Somerset steam locomotive 45596 Bahamas makes hard work pulling her rake of 11 coaches through Witham Friary with 1Z70 0700 Paddington to Minehead West Somerset Steam Express, the last one of the season. The train had stopped at Frome to take on water, was about 5 min down, and was regaining momentum on a slightly wet rail.
