On a hillside ofnortherly aspect in the northern part ofthe survey area was a dense stand ofmallee-form eucalypts consisting mainlyof stunted peppermints with a belt ofdense hakea and tea-tree. Along the riverthere was a narrow belt of Manna Gumgrowing to 40 m. with an understorey oftall shrubs.
