Bittersweet berries (Solanum dulcamara). This perennial climbing plant is used in herbal medicine in the treatment of skin diseases, warts, tumours, felons, arthritis, rheumatism, bronchial congestion, heart ailments, ulcerative colitis and jaundice. It is also used to treat skin eruptions, ulcers, rheumatism and cellulite. The fruit and root is used in the treatment of cancer and swellings. A homeopathic remedy made from the stems and leaves is used to relieve backache, cough, diarrhoea, eye inflammations and joint pains.
