Construction site of the ITER fusion reactor, France. At a depth of 17 meters, the concrete apron, the retaining walls and the seismic studs of the seismic isolation pit are in place. By filtering the accelerations of the ground in the event of a seismic event, they will protect the buildings and the equipment of the installation. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Cadarache nuclear study center in Saint-Paul-lez-Durance, Bouches-du-Rhône, France.
