The dinner itselfand the floral decorations were remarkable for good taste and first speaker was Mr. J. E. Chilberg, vice president of the Scandi-navian American Bank, and president of the Alaska-Yukon Expositionwho, after bidding us welcome to Seattle, regretted the fact that ourstay took place on a. Other toastswere responded to by Mayor Martin R. Carlson, of Moline, GovernorEberhart, and Henry S. Henschen.
