The General isreproduced in miniature on top of the monument,and on the left hand side is a die containing thenames of the Raiders who were executed in At-lanta; on the right hand side a die containing thenames of the eight who escaped from prison at At-lanta; and at the rear a die containing the names ofthose SAMUEL SLAVEXS, Private, Company E, 33dOhio Infantry, member of the Andrews Raiding in Atlanta, Ga., June 18, 1862.
