People on the upper roof garden of the Library of Birmingham that was officially opened on 3rd September 2013 by Malala Yousafzai, the teenager shot in the head in Pakistan by the Taliban for championing women's Library cost £189m and houses around one million books. It has more than 200 public access computers, theatres, an exhibition gallery and music rooms over 9 floors. This is the roof garden made from the rubble of construction with a wild flower meadow.
