Hind wing orange-yellow, with black fascia on costa and a broad terminal band indented between veins 5 and 2 by a sinus of the ground-colour. Hah. Venezuela, 1 J , 1 $ type. Exp. 24 millim. â Genus AGLOSSOSIA, nov. Type, A. flavimarginata. Proboscis aborted, miaute ; palpi porrect, slight, not reaching as far as frons, which has a large rounded prominence; antenna of male minutely serrate, witli bristles and cilia ; fore tibite with long claw on inner side and short claw on outer; tibiae with the spurs moderate ; abdomen clothed with rough hair. Fore wing i-ather narrow, the costa arched towards apex; vein 2 from middle of cell, oblique ; 3 from before angle ; 4, 5 from angle; 6 from vippsr angle ; 7, 8, 9 stalked, 7 from 8 beyond 9; 10, 11 free, 11 curred. Hind wing with rein 2 from middle of cell; 3, 4 stalked ; 5 from angle ; 6, 7 stalked ; 8 from middle of cell. 522. Aglossosia flavimarginata, n. sp. S. Head, tegulae, and patagia orange; frons and antennae blackish ; thorax greyish ; legs orange, streaked with black ; abdo- men grey, with segmental lines and the extremity orange. Fore.
