PACIFIC OCEAN (June 12, 2009) Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class James Nunn, left, from Ellerbe, , and Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class Chris Atkinson, from Ruther Glenn, Va., perform routine maintenance on the radar system of an F/A-18F Super Hornet from the "Black Knights" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154 on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Stennis and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9 are on a scheduled six-month deployment to the western Pacific Ocean.
