A beautiful species with large pinnate leaves of a light green with creamymid-rib and stems, while the trunk is bronzy purple; 4-inch pots, 12 incheshigh, 50 cts. each. NIVEUM. A very rare Palm of imposing habit, large, broad foliage, which is of asilvery white on under side. § each. KENTIAS. The Kentias, both Belmoreana and Forsteriana, are the hardiest in cultiva-tion and give better satisfaction as a house plant than any other are of slow growth, and are not affected by the dust and dry atmos-phere of the house, and were we to select one Pahn only, it certainly wouldbe a Kentia.
