Campaigners from Act Up continue their protest outsde after walking out from the London offices of NHS boss Simon Stevens where they protested against the statement from NHS England delaying adoption of PrEP, a pre-emptive treatment against AIDS, for at least 2 years. They say the treatment, shown to be effective and cost-effective for anyone at high risk, is being delayed to protect excessive profits of drug companies despite a current serious HIV epedemic.
