In his junior year he was prominentin both varsity football and basketball,but was out of school in the spring do-ing required work in his major ARNIE ROGEAN Basketball captain 166 THE PALM, April, 1937 In the fall of his senior year hewon his second varsity letter in foot-ball. His basketball teammates honoredhim by choosing him captain this win-ter, and now as the season is ended heis fourth high scorer in the New Eng-land conference. In the spring Arnie hopes to makea varsity record as a javelin thrower andalso be a four-letter man, a rare occur-rence. He is a member of Skulls, seniorhonorary society, and was WorthyScribe of the chapter. As well as having prowess as an ath-lete, Rogean is above the average scholas-tically. His average for the three and ahalf years is above 75, with an 80 aver-age so far in his senior year. He is ma-joring in floriculture in the college ofagriculture.—Franklin Heald.
