Miss Bridges, we were permitted to welcometo Colorado College this year. The loyal co-operation of friends among thefaculty means much to Association girls, as they strive to keep the ideal ofthe Christ-life before their eves. Lowry, 07 Our local Volunteer Band is a part of the world-wide organization ofCollege students who have declared their intention of becoming foreign mis-sionaries. The purpose of the organization is two-fold,—to help the members fitthemselves for their future work and to interest others in the cause of missions. The central idea of the movement is this: We believe that the highest de-velopment, physical, mental, and spiritual, is attainable only by a life in touchwith the Giver of Life, lived in the line of His purposes. We believe this notfor ourselves alone, but with respect to all classes and all conditions of man-kind. We believe literally in Jesus declaration, The field is the world; andtherefore deplore the humanly-arbitrary distinction of Home and
