Matt Keefer, 142nd AES medical technician, stabilize a simulated patient’s bed in a C-5M Super Galaxy, during Exercise Ultimate Caduceus participants at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., on Aug. 23, 2108. Exercise Ultimate Caduceus is Transportations Command’s annual patient movement field training exercise. It simulated bringing in injured troops from overseas, triaging them at Travis AFB, and moving them to longer-term and advanced-care facilities.
