Facing away from the lake this is a view of the stream the Lago d'Orta turns into as it flows its merry way northward in the direction of the rising Alps. A church facade, a row of houses on the other side, a church steeple in the distance, light reflects the houses in the water and an ornamental iron fence frames the photo better than any framer could!
