For this mission, the scouts used their night optical/observational devices to maneuver through the terrain at night. By conducting these types of training while deployed to eastern Europe in support of Atlantic Resolve, the soldiers are afforded the opportunity to test themselves and their equipment in terrain that differs from at home back in Fort Riley, Kansas.
