Jack Waid is a part-time Civil War reenactor and a full-time history buff. Waid has amassed a collection of 80 Airman uniform configurations dating from the Civil War (balloon pilot) to today's modern Air Force uniform. He's the historian for the 47th Flying Wing at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas.
