Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, 4th November 2023 - The Grange-over-Sands Lido is currnetly under restoration work after years of battling to save the structure from the elements and dereliction. The North-West English outdoor pool was closed in the early 1990's due to a lack of visitors, but pressure has now grown to save the pool. Westmorland and Furness Council has stepped in to restore the main buildings and fill the pool with shale so if funds are raised, the pool can be dug out and opened again in the future.
