Sutherland is a divisional point. Most of the territory through which we are now passinghas been settled during the past twenty years. It is a goodterritory, producing large crops and peopled with first-classfarmers. From Colonsay a branch runs south to Regina and Moose Jaw (seepage 67). At Lanigan branches run south to Brandon (see page 68) andMoose Jaw (see page 67). There is under construction in a north-easterly direction a new line to tap the more northerly parts of theprovince.
