Daffodil Cottage in the remains of the village of Eskart, now lost in the forest of the Balmacaan Estate above Drumnadrochit. This photograph shows perfectly how the weather funnels from west to east up the Great Glen, spilling into Urquhart Bay and Glen Urquhart itself on it's journey to Inverness, the hills flanking the northern side of Loch Ness channel the weather right past Glen Coiltie giving us these superb views of dramatic weather whilst enjoying a slightly drier climate.
