The painting was created by Florence-born Sandro Botticelli 1445-1510 and is on view in hall No A12 at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy. The birth of Venus painting is part of the Italian Renaissance art, a period in the 15th and 16th centuries.
