Members from the Navy hold the 50 state flags during the 2017 Warrior Games opening ceremony at Soldier Field, Chicago, Ill., July 1, 2017. Approximately 265 seriously wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans will participate in this year’s competition, representing the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and Special Operations Command. This year’s athletes will compete in various sports including archery, cycling, track and field, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming and wheelchair basketball.
