The smallest species in cultivation; dark green above, with occasional brown blotching, reddish beneath; flowers white with yellow stamens 1^ to 2-i- inches across; very free-flowering, and very useful for growing in tubs. 30 cts. each; $ per doz. — Helvola {syn. .V. tetragona HelvoLi'). Similar to the pre- ceding, but with sulphur-yellow flowers ; petals more pointed; leaves green, early stage reddish, blotched all over with brown; extremely free-flowering, and well adapted for growing in large aquariums
