Radiated tortoises. Radiated tortoises (Geochlene radiata) are endemic to Madagascar and are also known as 'Sokatra'. They are fairly large and considered to be one of the most beautiful tortoises in the world due to the yellow beams on their shells which sprout out from the centre of each plate. Photographed in the Montagne des Francais Reserve, Madagascar.
