Head and thorax red-brown with a blackish tinge ; pectus yellow ; legs brown mixed with yellowish, the tarsi blackish with pale rings ; abdomen orange-yellow, the ventral surface whitish. Fore wing red-brown tinged in parts with fuscous especially on basal and costal areas ; subbasal line black, from costa to submedian fold; antemedial line double, black, the inner line indistinct, oblique, sinuous, excurved above inner margin; reniform very faintly defined by blackish ; a slightly paler spot defined by blackish below end of cell; postmedial line black, oblique and sinuous to above vein 5 where it is angled outwards, then inwardly oblique, dentate, strongly angled inwards at vein 1; subterminal line repre- sented by a series of small dentate black marks and an oblique blackish shade from costa to vein 7 where it is met by a blackish streak from termen, defining an ochreous brown apical patch ; a q2.
