Strata skyscraper and its wind turbines. The Strata SE1 building (148 metres) is located in Elephant and Castle, Southwark, London, UK. It is a 43-storey residential building and the world's first tower with integrated wind turbines (seen at top). These are an integrated part of the building, rather than erected separately on top. Construction began in 2007 and was completed in 2010.
