Ralph's Cross and snow situated on Blakey Rigg above Westerdale

Ralphs Cross is probably the best known of the many moorland crosses in the North York Moors National Park. Standing proud at three metres tall at the head of Rosedale it has been adopted as the symbol of the park. Its real name is Young Ralph; Old Ralph is a smaller stone that stands a couple of hundred metres away.
