Majestic Maersk, now heading for Gothenburg in Sweden to enter the container service between Europe and Asia, will probably never visit Copenhagen again as it is off-route and not suitable for this size of ship. The Majestic Maersk left Copenhagen after one week's official naming ceremony and presentation. More than 225,000 people saw the exhibition and the ship from the Langelinie,, and more than 49,500 went on board the ship for the free tour. Majestic Maersk, now heading for Gothenburg in Sweden to enter the container service between Europe and Asia, will probably never visit Copenhagen again as it is off-route and not suitable for this size of ship. After proper horn sounding echoing through the harbour and answered by neighbouring ships, four Switzer tugs backed the ship out and through the harbour entrance, as the harbour is too small for triple-E ships to turn.
