On issuing transfer slips to children give one slip for each halffare and punch in space 1/2 fare in addition to hour and transferpoint—will be honored only for children under twelve (12) yearsof age; two slips will be given when fares for two children are paidat the same time and registered as one full fare. Each form is lettered and is used on one or more particularlines; the conditions on several lines are such as to require two slipsand such second slips are designated by double letters. In someinstances the two slips for one line are for use in different directionsand in others they are used to distinguish cash and transfer pas-sengers. We reproduce (D), (DD), (G), (GG), (O) and (P) withextracts from the companys bulletin to explain their use. All ofthe slips except (O) and (P) are i>2 x 4 in.; (O) is 2 x 4 in.; (P) is^Yi X 3J^ in. On issuing transfer slips, punch in proper space for transferpoint—in the light section to indicate a. m.—in dark section to in- good for fare on Chicago City Railway Co. cars, whether yearly,monthly or registered tickets.
