Jupiter at right and the Milky Way rising at left over Dinosaur Provincial Park, Alberta, May 14, 2018. A green band of airglow colours the sky at right to the south and southwest. The airglow band has a sharp edge, likely as a result of some gravity wave perturbation from weather systems much lower in the atmosphere. It looks odd but is natural. Antares and Scorpius is at centre. Saturn is just rising left of centre in Sagittarius. This is a stack of 7 x 30-second exposures at with the Laowa 15mm lens for the ground, to smooth noise, and one 3-second exposure for the sky at f/2, with the Sony a7III camera at ISO 6400.
