Three side-by-side two-man living bunkers, known as "Igloos", at Fire Support Base 270 (FSB 270), were captured in this 1970 photograph. The "Igloos" were made from 180-degree corrugated culverts covered with sandbags for added protection. These structures provided shelter for personnel stationed at FSB 270 during the Vietnam War.
