Picturesque chapel at Pointe des Monts where a previously important light house is located. Background of dark Evergreens and blue sky with patchy clouds. The lighthouse is not shown in this photo. This is along the St Lawrence where it opens into the wider Gulf. The treacherous rocks along the coast were extremely dangerous for shipping. Workers around the lighthouse and Lighthouse keepers as well as near-by Native Americans attended the Chapel when the light house was active and functioning.
