Lt. M. S. Lentz and Sgt. R. C. Co are pictured working at the Remington Arms and Ammunition plant in Bridgeport, Conn. The photograph shows the forging of a 45 auto. pistol receiver, which was the first operation in the production of this gun. This plant had recently begun manufacturing the gun.
