The new carhouse, a brick building withstone trimmings, will care for twenty-two city cars, asnowplow and a work train. It contains a repair shop,with a supply building adjoining, where facilities areprovided for making only the lighter car repairs. Themain building is 63 ft. wide by 120 ft. long and twostories high. On the first story open or intercommunicating typepits extending practically the full length of the buildingfacilitate inspection, repairing and cleaning of tracks over these pits are supported
