A pair of double-barrelled flintlock pistols, William Nicholson, London, circa 1790 Parallel, unscrewable smooth-bore barrels, slightly engraved at the muzzles, with false rifling in 11 mm calibre, numbered "1 - 4". Each with an angular box lock with cock safety on the reverse side and lever for the adjustment cylinder on the left side. Each with engraved signature "NICHOLSON CORN-HILL LONDON" on the sides, the bottom with double hall- and proofmark of the London Gunmaker Company (Stöckel no. 8645 + 8646). Smooth walnut butts.
