NUUK, Greenland -- (Aug. 10, 2021) Cmdr. Benjamin Spector, the commanding officer of the 270-foot Famous-class medium endurance cutter USCGC Escanaba (WMEC 907), talks to the crew during a navigation brief before departing port in Nuuk for Operation Nanook. The Coast Guard is again participating with Partners in Operation Nanook, an annual sovereignty operation and maneuver warfare exercise conducted by the Canadian Armed Forces in the Arctic.
