Below are four metal rings of increasing diameter, each with glass drops. The fourth ring from the bottom is the largest one; to it are fastened eight pairs of arms--five are shown--supporting the socket for the burning candles. Above it is a smaller ring, which forms the rim of a diamond glass bowl. To it are fastened sixteen arms--eight are shown, which support sockets, in which alternately glass and burning candles stick.
